Whilst it is legal to use SmarterX to share your dongle between multiple machines on condition that the number of concurrent users do not exceed the number of licenses (dongles) you own, Smart Logic cautions you to make sure that you completely understand the potential risks of violating your license agreement when using this device.
Depending on the make and model of your dongle and your application software, SmarterX can allow concurrent running of your application software on multiple machines accessing a node-locked dongle. You could be in violation of your license agreement if the number of concurrent users exceeds the number of dongles you own. Each SmarterX device can be easily configured by the user via a front panel dial switch to set a limit to the
number of simultaneous users that device can allow. It is important to make sure that you use the device within the terms of your license agreement that comes with your application software.
Smart Logic disclaims any responsibility for or liability related to any infringement of licensing law by our customer using SmarterX products.
